Supplier FAT logic
How to convert a supplier specification into measurable acceptance evidence instead of a checklist of component names.
Translate specification into tests
Every important requirement should become a measurable FAT item with test conditions, instrument, acceptance limit and recorded result. A list of installed components is not a functional test.
Test interfaces and failure modes
Vacuum, gas, cooling, power, controls, interlocks, alarms, data logging and recovery from defined faults should be checked as interacting subsystems.
Leave with evidence
The useful FAT package contains raw logs, calibrated-instrument references, photos where needed, signed deviations and an open-item list. The goal is to reduce uncertainty before shipment, not to create a ceremonial checklist.
